Before leaving Italy, I got a chance to spend a week in Paris. My only regret is that I didn't spend two weeks in Paris. What a lovely city.

March 1: a day of walking in Paris.
It was very cold - as it was to remain throughout my visit. (The the sun did make an appearance later in the week.)
Except for stopping to see the Van Gogh self-portrait at d'Orsay, I did not go in to many museums on this visit. However I did stop by the Louvre several times.
Another walking destination was the tower...
