winter arrives in Rome

Waiting for the shuttle bus at the Laurentina metro station; a downpour!  By the afternoon, the skies were a mixed of deep blue and the exuberant white clouds of this area.  The temperature was comfortable - so my left-behind jacket wasn't missed too much.

Speaking of left-behinds, I somehow left behind my distance glasses while traveling between Italy and Nanning on the journey to China.  With Curt's help, I got my prescription from my eye doctor and today dropped by a lens shop to see about a replacement.  I very nearly got red frames for the replacement glasses, but settled on this more studious look.
